The Art of Communication
The visual must serve two purposes. It must give an accurate representation of a design. It must also interpret, convey attitude and bring the design to life.

There is no panacea to representing the wide variety of subject material seen on this web site. Lingerie shop or town centre masterplan, quick sketch or detailed rendering, in each case I use a subtly different visual vocabulary ensuring that the medium serves the message as effectively as possible.

All of my work is hand drawn either over a hand drawn perspective projection or a computer model generated in ‘Sketch Up’. Some are rendered in pastel and mixed media by hand and others are rendered in Photoshop with a Wacom tablet (my hand has something to do with this too).

I can work in my own studio to a detailed brief on a fixed fee basis or in your office charged by the hour. The latter ensures quick communication on projects that are in the process of developing.

So flexibility is my byword. In this way each project provides a new challenge and after 25 years as a freelance visual artist it keeps me on my toes. It ensures that, at your presentation, your client doesn’t just understand what you say but sees what you mean.
